Selby Health Associates is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance. Payment is due at the time of service. Major credit, debit, and HSA/FSA cards are accepted through a secure electronic payment system.
A superbill can be provided upon request for clients who wish to seek possible reimbursement from their insurance provider.
Cancellation policy
Please provide at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment; appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may be subject to the full session fee.
Good faith estimate
Under the No Surprises Act, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Health care providers are required to give patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services, including psychotherapy and psychiatric services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency health care services.
You can ask your health care provider for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you schedule a service at least three business days in advance, your provider will provide a Good Faith Estimate no later than one business day before the service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you have the right to dispute the bill.
Be sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
